Subaru has unveiled a handful of new models to replace its sport Chrono sedan in the U.S. that include a turbocharged 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-four and a six-speed manual transmission.
The company is announcing the new Sport Chomos, a 3-Series crossover that debuted at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show.
The Sport Chomes have a 3.7-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, while the 2.0-liter three-cylinders are standard.
The 2.7 liter turbocharged three-cylinder is available with a turbocharger and the automatic transmission.
Both the Sport Choms and the Sport Chronos will have a five-speed automatic transmission, the automaker says.
It’s unclear if the manual transmission will be offered in the Sport or the Sports.
In addition to the three- and two-cyluster engines, the Sport and Sport Chronomos also feature a turbocharging system that can pump the engine from 0 to 100 miles per hour in about four seconds.
The two- and four-speed models are available with automatic transmission and are expected to come to dealers this spring.
The Subaru Sport Chronomatic, which starts at $25,500, is equipped with a six.2-liter naturally aspirated inline-six with a variable valve timing system and an electric motor.
It also has four electric motors to provide torque, according to the automakers website.
The Sport Chronobooms are equipped with an 8.6-liter flat-six engine with variable valve control, an eight-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission with dual-clutch gearbox and an electronic throttle system.
Both the Sport, Sport Chronobooks and Sport Chomo models will have an electric drivetrain, and the manual version will offer both a six and four electric motor options.
